Stampin Daisies Challange

I was looking through the blogs I follow and I happened to see this challenge at Stampin Daisies.  I really liked the sketch and I thought it was perfect for a layout.  I kept it simple, but I really like how it turned out.  I plan on adding an adorable picture of Princess Buttercup after I figure out which one of the thousands I have of her.  I cut the pink to 8x8, the black mat is 6.5x4.5.  The fiber was from my stash and then the flowers are Bloom-lets from Eye-lets Etc.  I used a yellow/gold gelly roll pen for the dashes.  The letters are from my stash too and they were out of the package.  Sorry about the picture I couldn't get it cropped. Both of my photo programs kept freezing on me when I tried to crop it.

Hope you enjoy your day!

Artful Delights Birthday Challenge #1

Right now my craft room is totally torn apart! I am getting a new desk, so I had to pack up everything and take apart my old desk. so I decided to go digital for challenge number 1.  Here is the sketch that we had to use.

I used a fantastic kit from Amanda Creations.  Here is her blog, and her store is listed on there too. She has awesome stuff. This is all from the Sweet Monkey kit.  I the pictures I added.  The one is Princess Buttercup and my friends baby, he is so adorable. The other is so Princess Buttercup, with her little attitude. :)   I just realized I made a mistake, and covered up a monkey...lol  I will have to fix and resave it.  Or I might have to redo the whole page.. Oh well, that is the fun of digital.
Head over to Artful Delights and have some fun.

Have a fantastic Day!!

Artful Delights Birthday Challenge 2

It is LeeAnne's Birthday over at Artful Delights.  She has a few challenges going on the weekend. Challenge number 2 is Tic Tac Toe!
To make my tic tac toe, I went straight across the top, make a card, use scraps, and use light pink.

I based my card off this pagemaps card sketch.  Cute, right??
I started with a yellow scrap for the base.  I took 2 pink scraps and tore them , then I chalked them with light pink and dk pink.  The chipboard flower I painted yellow and then used Scissor Sisters buttercream script on top of the flower. That is from Eye-lets Etc.  So is the little bloom-let flower.  I cut the blue squares and chalked them too. Added the buttons and some gloss to the centers.

Have a fantastic day!

Happy Fall

Hey Everyone!  I have been feeling so crafty lately. Which I think is good, cause I was kinda in a funk for awhile.  I made this simple little card, for my Mother-in-law.  I have some new pictures of Princess Buttercup, and my husband didn't want me handing out pictures in front of everyone, so they are going in the card.  I made the little girl from Everyday Paper dolls and she is made to look like Princess Buttercup.  I used all scraps for the card.  I cut the Happy fall from plantin schoolbook. I am entering my card into the following challenges.

Whimsical Wednesdays
Paper this and that
Cooking with Cricut
Wacky Wednesday Challenge 52

Have a great day everyone!

Welcome Baby!

I am so beyond excited!! My best friend(BFFFFFFF) just told everyone she is pregnant!!!!!
I am so happy for her, and can't wait until she has this precious baby.  I told her I would do lots of stuff for the baby's room, and make her scrapbook. So this is the first page that I have made.  I am not sure what order the pages will go in yet, but we will see what develops.  Since they don't know yet what they are having, I tried to keep it neutral and her favorite color is green. She will put the pictures on the colored cardstock, I couldn't add pictures since the baby is still cooking. :)

I used a kit that I had by Colorbok.  It is just called pastel.  The patterned paper, stickers and the 2 bottom embellishments.  The color cardstock is from  Eye-lets Etc, and the flower is one of their bloom-lets.  The baby was from my stash, I can't remember what they are.  I used the Artful Delights September sketch for the layout.

I hope you all like it!  I love you Shawna and I hope you like it too!

Happy Halloween!

I know it is slightly early for this years Halloween, but I made this for a Halloween Picture from last year.  I was lucky last year and able to help a lot in my daughters class. So I took some pictures at their party.  I don't have the pictures on the layout yet, but I love how the layout turned out.  I used this for my Eye-lets Etc  design team project.  Absolutely everything except the stickers and marker are from Eye-lets Etc!   I hope you have a fantastic day!

More Scrapfest Projects

It has been a crazy week!  My camera went nuts, and hopefully it gets working soon.  I have been doing projects like crazy!  I will have a few to post over the next few days.  I didn't take pictures of the last of the Scrapfest projects since my camera still isn't working, but at least you get to see most of them.

This project is Stampendous!  We created our own paper using stamps and white paper. Ripped that and adhered it to the board. The flower is a velvet sticker and so is the stem.

This is the Graphic 45 project.  The back paper we folded up and stapled to create the pocket.  The images was stamped on the tag.

This was the DoodleBug Designs project.  I loved doing it. I gave it to my friends 2 year old for his birthday and he loved it!  It was one of their predone cards, we added the paper and twine and then the monster sticker.  Easy but adorable.
We R memory Keepers project

Hampton Arts

Blogger was going nuts on me too! If you want directions on any of the projects just let me know and I can describe it. have a fabulous day!

A little late Grandparents Day project

I know Grandparents day was the 11th, but I did have this done in time.  I swear!! LOL.  I did this for a challenge for the ELE Design Team™, and it went on that site, but I forgot to get it up on mine.  The challenge was I had to make a vintage grandparents day project.  Vintage is soo hard for me, but I think I did pretty well on it.

It was a pretty easy project.  Everything I used was from the Eye-lets Etc store, except the gold ink. It was a quick project, I cut my Bazzill white textured cardstock to 2.5 by 6, then I used Scissor Sisters paper love collage and cut that at 2 x 5.5.  I inked the edges of the white with gold ink.    I used some Bloom-lets and used eyelets to hold them together.  The stickers are vellum Scissor Sisters stickers the Friends and Family set.  I used some purple Fibers and Such for the tassel and to wrap around the bookmark.  I finished it off with a vintage button, it wasn't on the site though.

I hope you enjoyed to project, have a great day.

Awesome kids challenge and a sale :)

Hi! I hope everyone is having a great morning.  I am still recovering from yesterday!  I have no idea how people handle going for all 3 days.  I wanted to share a few things this morning.  I think it is so important for kids to be creative and use their imagination.  I was so excited when I found out that Eye-lets Etc™ had a kids blog!  Click here to go to the kids blog.  Princessbuttercup was very excited when Terri, the owner, asked her to create a word scramble for the site.  So we came up with one, and if you go to the site, print off the word scramble and then color it. Take a picture of email it in, your child will get a prize!  I am actually going to do one more thing, and have her pick one of the words and then my project featuring that word.  She loves to craft and I really want to encourage that.  Become a follower of the site and there will be lots of cool stuff to come.

The other thing I want to share is there is a really awesome sale over at Eye-lets Etc™.  I really love being on the design team and the products are fabulous!  I have never had eyelets that set so easily and I am in love with the Bloom-lets™.  I can't wait to share my design team projects that use them.  Anyway, here is the link.  http://eyeletsetcblog.blogspot.com/2011/09/fall-into-september-with-eye-lets-etc.html

I think I have rambled on enough this morning.  I will try and post more Scrapfest projects either later tonight or tomorrow.    I hope you all have a great day!

Scrapfest pictures batch 1

I will try and describe everything we did the best I can.
This was the Coredinations project. This line was sooo long!!  They had preembossed paper, and we rounded the corners and sanded it.  They we glued it to a wooden board.  The purple paper we scored on a score board just a few random scores and then sanded that.  The leaves we folded a piece of paper in half and cut 2 half moons out of it on the crease, opened them up and sanded.  The rose was a square piece of paper, we drew a spiral and then tore it away from us. Then rolled up the spiral to make the rose. It came with the little easel too.

This was the Epiphany Crafts project.  The tag was a predone thing, and then we just glued down the piece of patterned paper, and made on of the epoxy embellishments and added that and flower to the tag.  The red circle was the epoxy embellishment we made.

The Echo Park project was the first one I made today.  It was fun at the booth, they had temporary tattos that said "Yo Momma (hearts) Echo Park"  The card was simple, The card was one piece of paper and we just folded it part way over so it had the little overhand, punched 2 yellow circles, and adhered them. The saying and the bee and flower were stickers they and we just stuck them on.

Last one for right now. This was the Karen Foster Designs project.  It was easy but cute. The blue paper we folded in half to make the card base.  The santa saying is a sticker we stuck it to the pattern paper and trimmed. Glued it to the red paper, and added the ribbon. Glued it all down to the base and added the charm.

I have a lot more projects to post and an awesome non Scrapfest post heading up tomorrow.

Have a great night, it is my bed time now. :)

Scrapfest 2011

Hey Everyone!
The past few weeks have been sooo crazy!!  I have a few projects, I need to post for you, but I want to share about today.  I went to Scrapfest at the Mall of America.  Oh my goodness!!  It was insane!!!  It was so crowded, but the projects were great.  There were 30 make and take projects, I got through 12 of them.  I am hoping to get to go again on Sunday and get a few more made.  I took pictures of the projects, but I didn't take any pictures at the event.  Later tonight I will get some of the projects that were make and takes up on here.  It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot of techniques.
Some of the lines to make projects were over an hour and a half long of a wait.  Totally crazy!!  I need to relax and try and get out of pain, and then I will get the pictures posted.
Have a fabulous night!!

Teddy Bear Blog Hop

Hi Everyone and welcome to the teddy bear blog hop!  It is National Teddy Bear Day! Jen from Jen's Craft Corner brought a lot of talented crafters together for this special day. The hop will run from September 9th through the 12th.

Here is the story about National Teddy Bear day, just in case you haven't seen it.

National Teddy Bear Day
Teddy bears are, of course, named after US President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt. The name came about after a 1902 hunting expedition. The hunt had found no game, so at the end of the day someone brought out a baby bear and suggested that Roosevelt might like to shoot it instead. Roosevelt understandably felt that this was not exactly sporting and refused. The incident was illustrated in a newspaper cartoon entitled "Drawing the Line" - which also referred to the political situation at the time. An enterprising New York toymaker saw an opportunity and brought out a cute stuffed bear named "Teddy's Bear". The rest, as the say, is history.

I hope you are enjoying the hop.  You should have come from http://ICrea8Cards.blogspot.com, if you just happened to find out about the hop, head to www.jenscraftcorner.com to start at the beginning.

I wanted to do something a little different for my project.  I love to make jewelry.  I haven't done it much lately.  It seems like there are so many cool crafts, and its hard to pick which one I want to do each day. :)

So my project is this cute teddy bear necklace.  I got the cute teddy bear bead off ebay a few years ago.  The beads are cats eye beads from  www.beadsdumonde.com.

Blog Candy!  I will be giving away a suprise package!  I will pick a winner on Tuesday morning and post the winner here.  You must be a follower to be eligible for the candy.

Cutie Cutie Cupcake

I love doing challenges, they are hard for me, but I enjoy them.  This one was extremely difficult, this card is for 3 challenges.
Birthday Sundaes
The Paper Variety
Crafty Sprouts

I redid this card 3 or 4 times.  Before I finally just let it flow and it all came together. I used some stickers from my stash to spell out "Happy Birthday 2 U". The cupcake is cut from a Cricut Lite cartridge called Slumber Party.  The cherry on top was a scrap and I just used my circle punch to cut it and it is popped up with a dimensional.  I just eyeballed my banner to cut it.  I used eyelets, so it actually hung from my string.  At first the Happy was on the banner and then I took that apart.  All in all it came together nicely.

Have an awesome day!  Enjoy your labor day weekend.

Blog Buttons

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share this link with you. Click here to go to the site.  It is a blog, that gives you steps on how to make a blog button and then the share box so others can take your button.  I am working on one, I wish I knew how to make it match my blog, but I am not sure since I used a blogger template.  Maybe for my 6 month blogaversary I will attempt to redo my blog and have my button and blog match. :)

I hope this link helps you!

Have a fantastic day!
