Mother's Day Gifts

hope you all had a great Mother's Day. I wanted to share some gifts we sent out for the moms.

I had the names put on at a local embroidery shop. Then I made the flowers and sewed them on. Here are some close ups.

I heard from my Mother in law and she said she liked hers. I can't wait to see how my husband's stepmom likes hers. I love how they turned out. Hope you do too.

Baby shower thank you

My friend is pregnant and I wanted to help her out in the shower planning. I wanted to a small favor for the people who came.

These were easy and everybody enjoyed them. I used a stamp set to add the butterfly to the patterned paper because her nursery is butterfly themed.

Happy birthday Mia

My daughter was invited to a birthday party and I always like to do a little something special for birthdays. So here is what I created.

I have used a predone tote bag and added her name. I used flannel and heat and bond. I just cut the letters out by hand, ironed them on and sewed around them.
Here is a close up

Then the pillowcase matches the bag. I enjoy making these. I can't wait for more bday parties. You will definitely see more bags in the future.

Sweet hugs and kisses

Hi Everyone :)  I hope you are all having a great week. It was my day to share at Pinque Peacock. I have a fun redo project to share.

This started out as a frame I bought when Archiver's was closing and I recreated it and here it is.
I painted it black. I used the acrylic paint from Ranger that comes with the paint dauber attached. It was a really clean way to paint. I used paper from Echo Park.
My angel pin from Pinque Peacock is the perfect touch for my picture holder.
I hope you like it I love how it turned out. The biggest pain was putting each individual bling on the paper but it was worth it.
Have a great week.
