Post it holders

Happy Monday :)
I have a cute little post it note holder project for you today.  I made 2 of these for some of our town royalty that my daughter is super close with.

I have close ups that I will add later. My computer is being super slow today.  So I cut chipboard at 3.5x3.5 and same for my paper.  I punched the holes using a bind it all and then used the wires. The paper was from a pack at Michaels. I added some ribbon and bling. I used Pink Passion, I believe it was called, for the stitching around the edges.

The letters are stickers left over from a scrapbook pack. Easy Peasy. I hope the girls like them :)

I am entering this into My Craft Spot Sew fun.
I am also entering this in Paper Playtime, Use patterned paper

Here are the close ups.

Don't Flip Out

Happy Friday Everyone!
I am starting to feel like myself and starting to craft up a storm. Today I have a simple little project for you.

I made some new magnets for my fridge.  We have a lot going on this summer and I need to keep track of all these papers.

I used 2 sizes of clothes pins and glued my paper on. Then I trimmed them and inked the edges slightly with close to cocoa ink and a q-tip. The flip flops were left over embellishments from a kit and then I added some bling and then flowers and twine to the other clips. The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs and I punched out the shape.  Easy Peasy but super cute on my fridge.

I am entering this in Shop Pumpkin Spice Summer themed challenge.  Check out the store here.

Enjoy your weekend. :)

Buckets of Fun

Happy Friday!
I am here with an entry into another challenge. I am finally getting back into things :)
This time at the Pumpkin Spice Blog the challenge is farm. I am also entering this into the 3Girl Jam Challenge anything goes with ribbon.
So when I was trying to figure out what to do, I was looking through all my craft stuff. I noticed I have so much that I don't use enough. SO along with entering more challenges I am also trying to use stuff I haven't used recently. We will see how that goes :)
Anyway....
Here is my project.

So I got this bucket a while ago in the dollar section at Target. Then I used my ribbon stash for the handle. The apple was cut from Doodlecharms at 2 3/4. I hand cut the leave off and then just colored the stem brown with a stampin up marker. I inked the apple with Ruby Red ink and used the same ink to stamp my sentiment. It is hard to see but the eyelet in the tag is also apple shaped. The sentiment comes from a K Andrew Designs set.  I gave it to my daughter's friend. She slept over last night and got to take this home this afternoon. :)

Make sure to check out the Pumpkin Spice store here.

So, now onto my project :)

This is a mini photo album. When you open it up, there are plastic sleeves to slide pictures in. I got it at Michaels and it was green and just blah to start with.

I covered it with this new paper from my stash and then inked it with elegant eggplant ink from Stampin Up, then I added the green binder and inked that with certainly celery. I wrapped it with purple bakers twine. I used my crop a dile to punch holes to put my twine through to tie it closed. The layers were cut with a stampin up framelets.  Then I just inked them as well.  I am thinking I might add a name in the center and give it to a friend of Princess Buttercup's.  I have until Tuesday to decide about that :)

Give me some sugar

Hi Everyone!!
I feel like I haven't crafted in a while except for Design Teams, but that isn't exactly true, I have done stuff but haven't shared everything. So I am going to start sharing those projects and get back to posting regularly. This is a new project.  I found a challenge at Pumpkin Spice and I knew this was a good challenge to get back into crafting.   Also here is a link to the Pumpkin Spice store.   The challenge is stars or firecrackers.

I know the picture isn't wonderful, but my camera got knocked off the ledge the other day and a piece broke :( So I am stuck using my cell phone til I figure out a way to try and fix it.  Anyway. It is a candy bar slider container. Then I used 2 punches to make the 2 layers for the tag. I added some liquid pearls to the tag and it was done.
I hope you like it. I also plan on trying out some other candy bar holders. I want to make them for gifts for a large group so I will see which way is easier.
Have a great day :)

Washi Tape and Paint Cans

Happy Monday Everyone!!  I have really been in an altering mood lately. Everytime I go somewhere I am looking for projects.
 Here is my latest project.

I went to our local bridal consignment shop and found these paint cans for $.55 each, so I bought all they had I think I got 6 of them total.  Then we had a girls day at the mall and I found washi tape at Claire's.  It was 4 rolls for $1.

This is the side view. For the flower it was a silk flower and I took the stem and insides out. Then it was too big so I just took a scissors and snipped it down a little bit. The button was from a pack from Archiver, and then so was the brad in the center of the flower. I just stuck it through the button and the center of the flower.  The pin was made from the Pinque Peacock bead buffet. I absolutely love the bead buffet, there are always such great choices available, and it is fun to make my own pins.

So I hope you enjoyed my altered paint can and have a fabulous day.
