Wobbling white rose

Happy Friday.
It's my day to post for Action Wobbles.
I altered a composition journal for it.

I got this adorable paper at an outlet while in vacation. Then I added my washi tape to cover the binding. The aqua is sticky ribbon from close to my heart. Then the white rose is from michaels and it is on the wobble. I didn't put a name on it, because I'm not sure who I'm going to give this to.
Don't forget to enter the Action Wobbles challenge anything goes and the Pinque Peacock bling challenge. I'm entering this in both challenge.

Uncle Sam Treat Jar

Happy 4th of July! I have a fun patriotic project for you today.
First I have to share my fun news. I am now a member of the action wobbles design team! Today is my first official post.

I started with a mason jar. I put Mod Podge about half way up the jar and then sprinkled glitter on it. I added some gemstone around the center of the  jar. I added some acrylic stars at the top. I found this red twine in the bottom of my box of ribbons and it was perfect. The final touch was Uncle Sam. I added a wobble to him and off he goes.

I hope you like him. Don't forget to enter the Action Wobbles challenge Here

Rainbow in a tube

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to create something fun for the kids in my religon class for St. Patrick's day.  I saw these on pinterest, but they had gold in the bottom.

I used the same tubes that I did for the Apple Jack tube. I filled them with skittles. I got the tag print out here.  I just used some cardstock and created a tag by hand. I added an eyelet and some stitching with a marker.
Here is a close up of the tag.  I am also entering this in Pumpkin Spice Challenge Rainbows.  I gave these to the kids Wednesday night and they loved them.

Enjoy your day.

Applejack hearts treats

Happy Saturday Everyone,
It has been crazy around here, lots of snow came through here. I have a few projects I have made and realized I forgot to share. What was I thinking LOL. So I thought I would share this new one first.
The Scrapbooking Queen has a digital challenge blog, I have followed it for a while. She is having a design team call so I thought I would try out. She provided the image.

Here is what I came out with

I got these cool tubes at Sam's Club, they were filled with gumballs and I just took out the gum and gave it to my friends child. :) I used apple runts for my treat.  I colored my image with my Prismacolor pencils.  I used some punches to create my circles and then it is hard to see but I used apple shaped eye-lets.  I tied my tag on with red baker's twine and it was done.  I hope you like it.

Have a great weekend.

Altered Picture Holder.

Happy Friday.
I have a new project to share.  I am lucky to live near a few Archiver's now that they are going out of business they have had a few good deals.
I picked this up for $.99 It is a wooden box frame/wall hanging.

I used this Basic Grey Sketch to get me started.
I turned it into this...

I painted the box a light green. All the papers I used are from Fancy Pants Designs. I used a 6x6 pad called time for Spring. All the papers are from that. I used a flower punch to create the flower. The brown, orange and blue papers were embossed with dots.I cut the heart, circle and scallop on the cricut. I added some twine and buttons from my stash. It is actually a picture holder. Hidden behind the flower is a paper clip to hold pics. I am going to enter this in the Pumpkin Spice blog Challenge Bling, bows or Button, and Cut it up Through the Woods

If you are hopping on over from Pinque Peacock you are in the right place, if not head on over to Pinque Peacock to start the day off right.  I of course altered something. I don't know why buy lately I look for stuff to alter. This project started out as a spicy trail mix container...LOL I think my husband thinks I'm crazy keeping his trash.
So the container was sort of like a mini pringles container and I just wiped it out really well. I got these papers in a Christmas stack at Michaels.  The cover I used a scallop punch and then a circle punch to decorate it.  The container part I covered and then chalked the edges of the candy cane striped piece. I thought that paper was perfect to go with the candy canes in the flower.
Here is a close up of my layered garden beauty and my cool bow. :) The bow is a 4 loop bow. I tied it normally then I did a second bow right on top from the long tails. I hope that makes sense. I thought it was a cool way to give a background to the flower.
I used a punch to make the mini tag and then I got the sentiment from Stampin up way back in the 90's LOL They were my sisters back in the day.  The ink was from Ranger.  That was it. I hope you like it. Don't forget to hop over to Miranda. If you get lost the whole hop is listed below.

Brr Time for snowman soup

Hi Everyone,
I don't know about your part of the country but here it is freezing cold!  -30 with windchill at times. I wanted to make a gift for my co-teacher at church and the cold weather was the perfect excuse for snowman soup.

I used a peanut butter jar for the base of it. Then I layered in some hot chocolate, mini marshmallows and crushed candy canes.  I took a strip of paper and wrapped it around the jar, then the snowman was on a piece of scrapbook paper and I just cut around it and adhered it on.  For the cover I used a punch and then added the stickers to spell out snowman soup

It was a super easy project and it only took about 20 minutes start to finish. Which was great cause I spent most of my time making the angel kisses jar. LOL  My co-teacher loved it.

I am entering this into My Craft Spot Neighbor gifts.

Post it holders

Happy Monday :)
I have a cute little post it note holder project for you today.  I made 2 of these for some of our town royalty that my daughter is super close with.

I have close ups that I will add later. My computer is being super slow today.  So I cut chipboard at 3.5x3.5 and same for my paper.  I punched the holes using a bind it all and then used the wires. The paper was from a pack at Michaels. I added some ribbon and bling. I used Pink Passion, I believe it was called, for the stitching around the edges.

The letters are stickers left over from a scrapbook pack. Easy Peasy. I hope the girls like them :)

I am entering this into My Craft Spot Sew fun.
I am also entering this in Paper Playtime, Use patterned paper

Here are the close ups.

Don't Flip Out

Happy Friday Everyone!
I am starting to feel like myself and starting to craft up a storm. Today I have a simple little project for you.

I made some new magnets for my fridge.  We have a lot going on this summer and I need to keep track of all these papers.

I used 2 sizes of clothes pins and glued my paper on. Then I trimmed them and inked the edges slightly with close to cocoa ink and a q-tip. The flip flops were left over embellishments from a kit and then I added some bling and then flowers and twine to the other clips. The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs and I punched out the shape.  Easy Peasy but super cute on my fridge.

I am entering this in Shop Pumpkin Spice Summer themed challenge.  Check out the store here.

Enjoy your weekend. :)

Buckets of Fun

Happy Friday!
I am here with an entry into another challenge. I am finally getting back into things :)
This time at the Pumpkin Spice Blog the challenge is farm. I am also entering this into the 3Girl Jam Challenge anything goes with ribbon.
So when I was trying to figure out what to do, I was looking through all my craft stuff. I noticed I have so much that I don't use enough. SO along with entering more challenges I am also trying to use stuff I haven't used recently. We will see how that goes :)
Anyway....
Here is my project.

So I got this bucket a while ago in the dollar section at Target. Then I used my ribbon stash for the handle. The apple was cut from Doodlecharms at 2 3/4. I hand cut the leave off and then just colored the stem brown with a stampin up marker. I inked the apple with Ruby Red ink and used the same ink to stamp my sentiment. It is hard to see but the eyelet in the tag is also apple shaped. The sentiment comes from a K Andrew Designs set.  I gave it to my daughter's friend. She slept over last night and got to take this home this afternoon. :)

Make sure to check out the Pumpkin Spice store here.

Give me some sugar

Hi Everyone!!
I feel like I haven't crafted in a while except for Design Teams, but that isn't exactly true, I have done stuff but haven't shared everything. So I am going to start sharing those projects and get back to posting regularly. This is a new project.  I found a challenge at Pumpkin Spice and I knew this was a good challenge to get back into crafting.   Also here is a link to the Pumpkin Spice store.   The challenge is stars or firecrackers.

I know the picture isn't wonderful, but my camera got knocked off the ledge the other day and a piece broke :( So I am stuck using my cell phone til I figure out a way to try and fix it.  Anyway. It is a candy bar slider container. Then I used 2 punches to make the 2 layers for the tag. I added some liquid pearls to the tag and it was done.
I hope you like it. I also plan on trying out some other candy bar holders. I want to make them for gifts for a large group so I will see which way is easier.
Have a great day :)

Guest Designer for Craftin Desert Divas linky party

I am posting today as a guest designer for Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas! Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly linky party and you could win fabulous prizes!!

This linky party theme is  Red, White and Blue. The sponsor is Pinque Peacock. The more you link up, the better chance you have to win.  Visit Craftin Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.

Here is what I created for this linky party....

This started out as a gold frame, it was a super old frame it had a 1980's price tag on it...lol.  Anyway :) I spray painted it blue, and then left it to dry in the garage and my husband threw it away. So after I rescued it  I took my big shot and embossed the white layer just part way down.  Then I added the ribbon to the outside. The pin and swirl are also on the outside. The flower is a Pinque Peacock Splendid Swirl and then the pin is a Pinque Peacock beaded pin. All from the new June release. :)

Hope you will Craft It Up & Link It Up!!!

Get Well Soon

I have a get well card to share with you today.
Everything on the card was from my scrap bin.  The image is from MelJen's Designs and I colored it with my Prismacolor pencils.

I don't know why the sentiment looks so light :( I had to take the pic with my phone. I woke up this morning and we had no heat. I had to take my camera batteries and put it in the thermostat so the heat would kick back on.

You hold the key to my heart

Hi Everyone,
It's Tuesday which means it is my turn to share at Getting Cricky. I created a frame today, I got it on clearance at WalMart awhile ago and they just sat on my dresser in a pile. Well then this one fell off and the glass broke, but I didn't want to throw it away so I can up with this.

SSS192
I used the sketch from Sweet Stop Sketches.

I took the back off and decorated it and then to make it stay back in the frame I took the cardboard from it, cut it into strips and put it in the frame track to keep the back from falling forward. I hope that makes sense. The mini clothespin I dabbed my finger in paint and just smeared it on that way it has a more shabby look to it. The paper is Fancy Pants Designs from the Wishful Thinking Collection I used both sides of a piece called adorable.  The sentiment is from the Free set of K Andrew Designs that was given away last Valentine's day. Also there is still a 60% off sale going on.  All you have to do to change to picture is open the clothes pin.

I am entering this into the 3 Girl Jam Challenge anything goes with ribbon.
