The image is from MelJens Designs and the challenge was use Be a Square. The 5 blocks up top are all squares just turned different directions.

Have a great day.

So Sorry

Happy Monday. I have a quick card for you. It started out as one card and then I messed it up and it ended up like this.

I used scraps for the entire card including the ribbon, and the sentiment is from K Andrew Designs Sympathetic Sayings.

Sorry for the short post. I am in the middle of a much needed craft room cleaning and I don't want to lose momentum, but I wanted to get this posted :) The whole blabbering story...lol is at Getting Cricky if you want to read it.

You hold the key to my heart

Hi Everyone,
It's Tuesday which means it is my turn to share at Getting Cricky. I created a frame today, I got it on clearance at WalMart awhile ago and they just sat on my dresser in a pile. Well then this one fell off and the glass broke, but I didn't want to throw it away so I can up with this.

SSS192
I used the sketch from Sweet Stop Sketches.

I took the back off and decorated it and then to make it stay back in the frame I took the cardboard from it, cut it into strips and put it in the frame track to keep the back from falling forward. I hope that makes sense. The mini clothespin I dabbed my finger in paint and just smeared it on that way it has a more shabby look to it. The paper is Fancy Pants Designs from the Wishful Thinking Collection I used both sides of a piece called adorable.  The sentiment is from the Free set of K Andrew Designs that was given away last Valentine's day. Also there is still a 60% off sale going on.  All you have to do to change to picture is open the clothes pin.

I am entering this into the 3 Girl Jam Challenge anything goes with ribbon.

18 month blogaversary

I missed my one year blogaversary.  It happened when I was waiting for surgery and heading out to California. So I was thinking of doing a year and a half blogaversary. It would be January 13. Anyone interested in helping me out? Just 9 or so people for a hop?  I will start compiling some prizes. Just let me know if you are interested. Leave me a comment with your email or send me an email at

Snowman Soup

Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope you all made it through it safely and aren't too tired....lol
I am already doing better one of thing which is crafting and blogging more :D. I made these snowman soup containers for the teachers at church. The larger one with go to Princess Buttercup's teacher and the smaller one to the teacher I work with.
I used some Crystal Light containers that were heading to the recycle bin. I filled them with hot chocolate mix, then layered marshmallows, hershey kisses and mini candy canes.  The postage stamp shape is a spellbinder die, I used 2 sizes one for the front and then the tag. You can see it but I wrapped around the container with cute paper too.
I punched a hole in the tag and added an eyelet so it wouldn't rip off.  They were super easy and I hope the teachers like them. I'll find out in an hour ;)
I attached the tags with some twine.
I am entering this into the 3 Girl Jam Challenge Anything Goes.
