Happy Friday Everyone!
I am starting to feel like myself and starting to craft up a storm. Today I have a simple little project for you.
I made some new magnets for my fridge. We have a lot going on this summer and I need to keep track of all these papers.
I used 2 sizes of clothes pins and glued my paper on. Then I trimmed them and inked the edges slightly with close to cocoa ink and a q-tip. The flip flops were left over embellishments from a kit and then I added some bling and then flowers and twine to the other clips. The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs and I punched out the shape. Easy Peasy but super cute on my fridge.
I am entering this in Shop Pumpkin Spice Summer themed challenge. Check out the store here.
Enjoy your weekend. :)

Buckets of Fun
Happy Friday!
I am here with an entry into another challenge. I am finally getting back into things :)
This time at the Pumpkin Spice Blog the challenge is farm. I am also entering this into the 3Girl Jam Challenge anything goes with ribbon.
So when I was trying to figure out what to do, I was looking through all my craft stuff. I noticed I have so much that I don't use enough. SO along with entering more challenges I am also trying to use stuff I haven't used recently. We will see how that goes :)
Anyway....
Here is my project.
So I got this bucket a while ago in the dollar section at Target. Then I used my ribbon stash for the handle. The apple was cut from Doodlecharms at 2 3/4. I hand cut the leave off and then just colored the stem brown with a stampin up marker. I inked the apple with Ruby Red ink and used the same ink to stamp my sentiment. It is hard to see but the eyelet in the tag is also apple shaped. The sentiment comes from a K Andrew Designs set. I gave it to my daughter's friend. She slept over last night and got to take this home this afternoon. :)
Make sure to check out the Pumpkin Spice store here.

Attitude is Everything at Crafting Family
Hi Everyone!
Happy 4th of July.
I have a short post for Crafting Family today.
I made a quick little box for you today. When you take off the band it opens like a pizza box. It's perfect for a cookie or some candy.
I used Basic Grey paper for the band, tag, and one of the flowers. It is from the Wander Collection, and it is called turbulence. The flowers are a scalloped circle and I punched it 5 or 6 times and then pushed a brad through it. I then got it slightly wet and scrunched it up to make the flowers.
I eyeballed the tag. The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs Positive Thoughts.
Enjoy your day.

Getting Cricky Simply sunday Challenge
Happy Sunday!
I hope you are all surviving the heat. This month's challenge at Getting Cricky,
We were challenged to make something for a summer celebration. So here is what I came up with.
I apologize for the uncropped pics, I have been having computer problems and wasn't able to crop them.
So here is the finished project. I plan on using for the summer get togethers for the table.
The ketchup bottle says "Ketchup with you soon" and the mustard says "I could just squeeze you" The sentiments are from K Andrew Designs Food for Thought.
This is the view of it from the back. I used a lot of stickles and gemstones on this.
This is one of the side views.
I made up the pattern myself. If you are interested in it,let me know and I can write it up. :)I used the K Andrew Designs Twine.
So, I hope you have a great day and head on over to join in our challenge.
I also plan on entering this into Decorate to Celebrate.

This month is about Kids going wild and having fun. :)
If you've hopped along from Patricia then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Kristal's blog (you'll want to catch up on all the FUN!!)...
Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!

You can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by visiting her online store: K Andrew Designs:
Kristal's stamp sets are perfect for cards, layouts, and so much more...
So without anymore yapping...lol

We are both featuring the Guy Talk set.
Here is Princess Buttercup's project. She made this all be herself. I layed it out on the Gypsy. She assembled it all along and wouldn't let me help at all.
She picked the railroad conductor cause that is what Daddy is and she is giving this to him for Father's day. She was hilarious. She was in my scrap container, and saying "hmmm...I think daddy needs a blue base...oooh and some polka dots...oh yeah and twine." She is so funny to craft with. :)
Here is my project..
I made a Father's day card the other day for my dad, but I changed my mind and that one is going to my father in law and this is for my dad.
It says You da man, Big papa. I think my dad will laugh over it. :)
I am going to have some blog candy. One lucky follower will recieve 5 yards of twine in the 8 colors I own. It is the fabulous twine from K Andrew Designs.
Your next stop is Christel :)

End of the year teacher girft
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share the gift we made for my daughter's teacher. I did something simple, the card was inspired by the challenge at Die CuttinDivas.
I used the lite cartridge slumber party for the cupcake. I used scraps from my bing for everything except the base. The sentiment comes from K Andrew Designs set Food for thought.
Princess Buttercup picked out the cake and frosting. It was a big hit this morning. Her teacher loved it and said she was going to bake cupcakes this weekend :)
Next week I will be sharing a few other projects made with this set.
Have a great day everyone!!

Reach for the stars
Hi Everyone,
I have a graduation card for you. This is the first one I have ever made. It is for a relative of my husbands. He has been pestering me for weeks to get this done. So i found this video online for the instructions to make this card. Click here for the video. Listen to the instructions carefully cause I wasted some cardstock, cause I missed directions.
Anyway, I am entering this in 3 challenges.
Fantabulous Cricut
Celebrate the Occasion
My Craft Spot
It is a simple card, I had no idea what the school colors were and I have only met the graduate once. So I hope he likes it. The black and white paper were scraps. I used some K Andrew Designs stamps.
The reach for the stars is from Of Mice and Little Men , wishing you is from Splashtastic Summer, and the best is from Food for Thought.

So that is it. I hope you have a fabulous day, enjoy your Memorial Day weekend.
PS don't forget there is still time to enter our Disney Challenge at Getting Cricky

You blow me away
Hi Everyone!
I wanted to share this little card with you today. I liked this sketch at the Sweet Stop. I did remove the circle from the sketch because I did too much ruffle and the circle didn't work, so I reworked the design.

So I chose 2 different papers for the card and then some blue ribbon for the ruffle. This is the first time I have made a pinwheel and it turned out so cute. I think next time I would make it a little smaller.
I used K Andrew Designs new stamp set Guy Talk. I love this set. I have already made a few things with it, and I see so many uses that aren't guy related.

Have a great day. :)

DT project for CraftingFamily.com
Hi Everyone ,
I hope you are having a fabulous day. Today is my day for creating for Crafting Family. I am working on a really big project for a few weeks from now, so I kept today's project simple.
I made this card...
I got to play with the MME Boy Collection Good Day Sunshine. The guitar and little cassette tapes are the same piece of paper. The blue cardstock is also from Crafting Family.
I tried to copy the ebay pic but it didn't work.
This whole set is on sale on Crafting Family's ebay page.
click here to go check it out.
The green and cream cardstock were from my scrap pile. I kept it simple because I didn't think my hubby wanted a girly father's day card...lol
The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs, Guy Talk.

I used my cricut and the the gypsy wanderings, and everyday paper dolls. I little dotting and it was ready to go. I am going to let Princess Buttercup stamp the inside with whatever sayings she wants, when it is closer to Father's day.

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge
Good Morning Everyone!
This is a Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge Day. Woohoo!! :)
We were challenged to make a Disney Themed project.
Over a year ago, my husband got a Disney Themed scrapbook kit for our daughter. She started and then lost interest and it fell to me to work on it. At the time, I really didn't know what to do, so everything was so simple. Now the trip is getting closer and I am fixing and adding to all the pages. I took the papers off and added twine, and embossing to make them pop. Then I did some doodling around the edges. The best addition was the stamps. I love this set. It is the Of Mice and Little Men set.
The best part of the set it, even though it is perfect for Disney themed projects, you can also use the sentiments for so many other things. I plan on making a graduation card and use the Reach for the Stars.
I love how it turned out and can't wait to redo all the other pages and add all the sentiments. :)
Anyway, enough babbling...lol
Check out all the DT projects and join in the challenge.

Summertime for me is Sunshine and vacation. I love being able to go on vacation and just do nothing.
I made this magnetic photoboard. It is a piece of 5x7 metal sheeting. I covered it in paper and then added my mats and such. I glittered it like crazy. It is going to be a gift for my sister in law for letting us stay with her while in Cali. She is taking us to the beach and arranged to take us to Disney. She is super awesome, and I will make a lot of stuff for her before we go.
I also plan on making a little sun magnet I just ran out of time :(

Happy Mother's Day
Good Morning everyone and Happy Mother's Day. :)
I wanted to share the card I made for my mom this morning. I let Princess Buttercup pick out all the paper and materials and I just put it together.
I used this sketch from Sweet Stop.
Then I used the challenge at Hiding in my Craftroom which was to use scraps.
Everything on this card came from my scrap bin. So I made my card base, then cut the pink for the mat, and the yellow for accent. I wrapped twine around the yellow and through the buttons. The flowers were from Michaels. Did some dashing with my gel pen, some stickles and added the sentiment from K Andrew Designs the set is Crafty Friends.
Have a great day :)
