Getting Cricky Pick a Cartridge day 2

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to day 2 of the Getting Cricky Pick a cartridge project week.  If you missed my other post we were challenged to pick a cartridge that we don't use and then use it everyday for a week. You are welcome to join us. Pick a cartridge use some K Andrew Designs stamps and link up.  You can link up on any DT blog that has the linky or at Getting Cricky. I will try and add the linky :)

Today was rough. I hate when you have a vision in your mind and it doesn't turn out. This cut started out on a card and it was yucky so I took her off and she ended up here.  It also didn't turn out quite like it should but she is cute :)

I found these bucket at Goodwill 3 for $1. Then I took paper cut it 1" thick and pleated it around the bucket it took 3 of them.  I cut a scalloped circle and stamped hugs and kisses from K Andrew Designs Its Valentine's set.  Then I tied on ribbon.

Zebra Flower Card

My creating has kinda been on hold.  It is hard to craft on vacation.  I forgot many important things, scissors, paper cutter, and extra adhesive.  I have a ton of ideas, but I wasn't able to do much.  I have a card in mind for tomorrow, if I am able to get it to print out.

I worked on this around the house today.  I used zebra scraps, and black and white scraps. I colored the digital stamp from MelJens with sharpies.  There are black gemstones all around the outside. The card base is from Studio G.

Journey the kitten, fighting me for ribbon.

I finally won the battle and was able to add ribbon to my card.

Dont forget about my blog candy. Go down a few posts. It ends on Sunday.

Chillin with my daddy!

I think this turned out Super Cute.  I did this for a scraplift challenge over at TallyScrapper.  I love how simple it is, but still cute. The letters are my favorite, they were white punch out ones, i dabbed them with green ink, and then dashed them.  i dashed the edges of everything.

Have a great day!  I am soaking it up in the Texas sun right now.

Candy, candy candy! Who wants some candy?

Hey Everyone,
I am in a fantastic mood, I think it is because my vacation is about to start.  I wanted to do a fun giveaway.  The winners of my last giveaway never even contacted me :(
For this giveaway, I will give away yards of ribbon. Right now I have 17 followers, so the minimum of ribbon I will give away is 17 yards.  When I get back August 27, the number of followers I have will be the amount of ribbon I give away!  Just leave me a comment on this post, and I will pick a winner when I get back.  I have some projects set to auto post and I am going to try for a cute layout or card before I go.  I have some awesome digital stamps I wanna use before I go.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Hello Hello

This card totally gets the Beatles song stuck in my head. LOL.  This a different kind of card for me.  The striped paper and flower embellishment are digital elements, and I printed them out.  They from puddle jumper at A-manda Creations.  The digital stamp is MelJen's again. :)  The card base is from Studio G, I love the wavy edge.  I cover it in yellow from my scrap bin, and inked the edges in orange.  Colored the hello with watercolor pencils and then glittered them with studio G glitter glue.  I popped the flower up with dimensionals.  Then added a bow from my ribbon stash.

Have a fantastic day!!

I'm Sorry Bear

I love this little bear.  I got him at, surprise suprise, MelJen's.  I can't believe how awesome her freebies are.  I colored him with my colored pencils and blended with alcohol.  This is based off a cardmaps sketch.  I forget to look at which month it was.  i will see if I can find it.  I matted the digital stamp on Doodlebug designs, petite prints in bubblegum.  The background is pink cardstock and I border punched the 2 sides of it.  The plaid is doodlebug designs nifty notions.    I put the ribbon across it and added the bow, and 2 orange eyelets.

Here is a closeup of the bear.

Pink chipboard album

I found this cute square chipboard album at Michaels in the dollar section!  I was so surprised they had them in a few shapes.  I used a glue by US Artquest, perfect paper adhesive gloss.  It is the best glue I have ever found for doing chipboard albums, just make sure to go close to the edges. I picked it up at Michaels on clearance for $.49.
All the patterned paper is from an Oriental Trading set.  The ribbon is soo cute and it is from Angela at Binger Crafter.    I need to add some kind of embellishments to the front and pages, I am just not sure what I want to do yet.  I found some stickers and used to spell out the saying.  I took glitter glue and traced the pink, and poured pink glitter on top.

I am linking it up to Make it myself Mondays at youhadmeatcraft.com.
