For this I used the white Studio G card base, I cut the Echo Park paper to 5x5 to cover the front of the base.  I inked the edges using the pink ink, the next layer is Bo Bunny and it is cut to 4x4 and then inked with olive and adhered in a diamond shape.  I just trimmed it even with the card. The last layer of paper is the Cosmo Cricket, and it was cut at 3x2, and inked with olive ink.  The adorable image is from MyGrafico. They have super adorable stuff and this girl was a freebie!  I colored her with watercolor pencils.

Design team call at Pumpkin Spice!

I am really excited!!!  Pumpkin Spice is having a design team call!  Here is the link. http://pumpkinspiceblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/calling-all-paper-craft-junkies-design.html.
The requirements are you need to make a NEW project for the team call. You can enter more than one project if they are different types of projects.  You also need to use 2 or more of the following paper lines
Cosmo Cricket
My Minds Eye
Graphic 45
Bo Bunny
Echo Park
Crate Paper

I have so many paper lines I love, but I really like Bo Bunny and Coredinations. :)

I am going to try and make 2 projects for the team call.  Ever since I found out about design teams I have dreamed about being on one, but I am soo worried about my stuff not being good enough for them.  But I decided to try anyway.

On to the project!
I have quite a few of these dollar frames laying around, and I am really trying to use stuff up. I used a decocolor paint marker on the frame.  It was so easy to paint the frame, it was just like coloring and it was nice to be able to put it away and color again later.

I cut the flowers out on the Cricut, using Plantin schoolbook, at 1.5 inches and 1 inch.  I layered the flowers and used eyelets to hold them together.  Using zots I stuck them on the frame and it was done.
I love how easy everything went together.
Here is a close up of one of the flowers.

Magnetic Photo Frame/Memo Board

I'm back again. :P  I was looking around and I found this piece of flashing. They are from Home Depot and they come in packs of 10.  It is a 5 x7 metal flashing.  You can use them for magnet boards.  I covered it with scraps of paper. I used a 1" circle punch to cut the 2 circles and the gems I picked up in a bag at Dollar Tree.  I used clear glue to glue the paper to the gem and adhere a magnet to the back.  I am still looking through my huge ribbon stash and I am going to punch 2 holes with my crop a dile and put ribbon so it hangs.

I am going to enter this over at youhadmeatcraft.com for Alex's linking party. :)

Quick project. Mini clothes pins

I am trying to do a project a day, but it already got messed up. :(  Yesterday we took a trip to the zoo, and I was soo tired when we got home I didn't wanna do anything.  Here is Princess Buttercup and the zebra.

So today, I have a quick mini project and I might have my second project finished for tonight.  I was cleaning and found this little bag in a box.
I decided to make whatever was in the bag.
They were mini clothes pins and paper strips. They were super easy to make just cut strips of paper 1/4" by 1 3/4".  I actually just glued them on and cut the excess off when I was done, but you could precut them.  I added strips of magnet, to the back and they were done.

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezey. :)

Have a great day!
Recipe... Mini clothespins, strips of paper, magnet strip, cut in half so they were skinny.

Ready to post my first project! :)

I worked so hard today trying to figure out what to make and I wanted to make it good. :)

A few weeks ago Jalissa at http://www.patchesofpink.com/ had a really cute digital stamp and I used it to enter her contest.  I liked it so much that I wanted to use it again.  I liked my first attempt but wanted to try it again.  This past weekend there was a scrap hop that started at http://www.craftycardgallery.blogspot.com/.  It really inspired me to use up my scraps.  So after last week when I organized all my scraps by color and solid/print, I am starting to use them.
Sorry about the sideways card, I didn't know how to turn it, after it was in the post.
So here is a close up of the fairy.

I used white cards from the Michaels dollar section, scraps from my collection, ribbon from my stash, glitter glue from Michaels dollar section and the adorable digi stamp from Patches of Pink.  I colored her with Rose Art colored pencils.

I am also going to add this to Alex's linking party.  Alex at youhadmeatcraft.com has made it myself mondays, it is so cool and you can link up projects that you have made, so I think I will go link it up over there.

Have a great night everyone!
