Hi Everyone!
It's Wednesday so time for my Crafting Family post. I made an easel card for today. I used the sketch from MelJens for the challenge this week.
I used scraps for the mats and some Jubilent paper from Studio Calico, from the HeyDay Collection. The ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam and the sentiment is from Positive Thoughts from K Andrew Designs.
Added some stitching with a white pen and that was it easy peasy.
Have a great day.
My blogaversary was last month and I missed it with everything going on health wise, but I noticed today I am almost at 150 followers. So after the craziness dies down at my house I will do something to celebrate my blog birthday and my awesome followers :)
I will also pick a winner from the hop this weekend.
It is that time of year going back to school. So that is the theme of our Getting Cricky blog hop this month. If you are just joining in make sure to head to Getting Cricky and start the hop We are so pleased to have An 'Jenic from AJ's Scrapbooking and Cards. Otherwise if you are joining me from the FABULOUS Shawn, thanks for stopping by. :)
Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to
benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the
following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children,
Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Doorways
Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women,
Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research
Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale
to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful
miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you
purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is
receiving some good help! K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in
the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials
are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America. You
can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by
visiting her online store: K Andrew
Designs: So, Now onto my project.
I got a pencil box at walgreens. I they were on sale for $.39. I wrapped paper 6.5x9 around it and just creased when I got to the edges. I cut the little paper and pencil from Simply Charmed they were 2.59 inches on the gypsy. I hid the faces and added some peachy keen faces. I wrapped some K Andrews Design Twine around it and added the sentiment. It is from Positive thoughts. I had so many ideas, I also thought of using Attitude is everything :)
I also have some blog candy, I will be giving away some surprise items, the only thing is...you gotta wait til payday for me to send them :D So they will be mailed to you after the 27th. Leave me a comment be a follower and I will pick a winner Monday.
I hope you enjoyed my project make sure to hop on over to

It is one of my days to have a project on the Getting Cricky blog. I used the peppermint sweet wishes freebie that was given out around Christmas last year.
I got a composition notebook at walgreens 6 for $1 this week. The ice cream is from Simply Charmed. I just skipped the layer with the face on it. stamped a peachy keen face, some ribbon and the sentiment. It was an easy little project.
I made this treat container from a toilet paper roll. My neice covered it in paper. I added treats and closed it with eyelets.
I am having blogger issues and will add the picture as soon as I can.
Happy Pun Day! I mean Sunday..
I hope you are all having a fabulous day. Today is the Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge.
We were asked to create something using a pun.
I used the K Andrew Designs set All about Animals for the sentiment and the cricut cartridge Meow for the cat and socks. The twine is from K Andrew Designs as well.
It was an easy card and I hope you will come play with us in the challenge.
There is a design team call at Core'dinations! I love them, that is the only cardstock that I buy, so I figured why not give it a shot.
We need to pick 3 projects using die cuts for our submission. They said they did not have to be new, soooo...here we go :)
It was hard to pick just 3 but I think these are 3 of my favorites that use diecuts.
