Wooden notepad holder

Hello :)
Today was my day to share at Pinque Peacock. I made this notepad holder.
I was inspired by an email from How Does She. It was for a Father's Day present and it got me search for wood scrap projects. I'll find the link and post it.
Anyway, I got my dad to search his scraps, he sanded the edges slightly and drilled a hole for the pen. Then I painted it pink with a Ranger paint Dauber.  I used the Echo Park Love Story collection for all the papers. I inked the edges and used my Xyron sticker maker. Then I added some twine and the little metal studs. The finishing touch was a large fabric button from Pinque Peacock.
Here is a different view

I love how it turned out. I just need to add a stack of post it notes and it's ready to go.  I will definitely be raiding the wood stack and making some more. Have a great week
