Pinque Sparkly Journal
Hi Everyone!!
It's is such a beautiful day and I hope you are going to head out and enjoy it. It is my day to post at Pinque Peacock.
I have an altered journal to share with you today. I found this in the $.50 section at Michael and knew it was just dreaming about being made over :)
The patterned paper was from a disney scrapbooking pack. I started on the flap and then wrapped it around. It didn't quite make it so I added a strip of solid to make it around the book. I inked all the edges after I trimmed it. I added the white sheet of paper but then it looked too blah, so I had the idea that I would stamp on it in liquid pearls. I love the effect that it added.
Then the pink paper is where I will add a name to the journal. I am not sure who i am going to give this to yet.
I attached the flowers and this gorgeous Pinque Peacock Pin. This pin was part of the July Release for the check out the rest of the gorgeous pins here.
Since I have a love of bling, I added all the bling around the flap just to make it sparkle.
Here is a close up of the pin and stamping :)
Isn't the pin the perfect touch for the journal. Princess Buttercup is already trying to make this hers.
I hope you liked my journal and have a great day.

recipe book
Happy Monday!! I just realized I have never shared one of my favorite projects.
Last summer I participated in Paper Craft Island and after I was voted off they had redemption island. One project was to make anything to show our skill. I made this recipe book.
I cut my chipboard to 4x6 then I covered it and decorated. All the papers were from the kitchen themed paper from DCWV I can't remember the name. I borrowed the stack from my mom for this. I decided to use rings instead of binding it, so it was easier to add recipe cards.
I know I spelt dessserts wrong. I was having a brain fart that day. I did fix it I just forgot to retake the picture. LOL. I hope you forgive my craziness.
Enjoy your week.
