Sketches in Thyme Guest Designer

Hi Everyone! I am excited to announce I am a guest designer for Sketches in Thyme this month.  My first sketch to work from was so cute.  I made this layout based on it.  It is slightly different because my first attempt at it didn't go so well, but I actually like how this one turned out much better.  The paper was from a kit I bought years ago at Wal-mart and the letters are Pink Paislee.  I would love if you joined in the fun over at Sketches in Thyme and next week I will have another adorable sketch and layout for you.

Sketches in Thyme Challenge #57

***Click HERE for the Blessed to be 60 hop.***

Over at Sketches in Thyme they had a sketch challenge for this sketch.  I thought it was perfect for this set of pictures I recently got from a friend.  I didn't want it to be too girly, but I think it turned out.

All the papers were from an Oriental Trading, the bling was from my stash and the letters were cut from Plantin Schoolbook.  I had cut the stars, added a little glitter and it was done.

Have a great day!

Link up with Love Party with K Andrew

I love how these pages turned out.  I have mention my weird sized scrapbook, so have been trying to make more pages for it.  These pages started out for a design team project, but the whole thing got cancelled so I am sharing them here.

The halloween paper was crumbled up for the one mat and the background of the other, it was a piece I picked up at Joanns, a long time ago.  The purple sparkly paper is also from joanns, I believe it is coredinations, but I am not positive. The orange, and purple mats for the stamps are bazill paper from Eye-lets Etc.  Both of the super adorable stamps are from Mel Jens Designs.  I colored them with prismacolor markers.  The glitter on the spider was a light purple from Studio G.   The ribbon I pulled out of my enormous ribbon stash :)  A few eyelets from Eye-lets Etc and it was done.

Have a great day.  I will be linking with up for the K Andrews Link up with Love party.  Here are all the details I got them all from her site. :)

Moldy Cheese Day

Sunday was Moldy Cheese day.  So over at the Eye-lets Etc blog our design team project was to make something for this occasion.

I love how this turned out.  I used green bazill cardstock for the base, the strip on the side is stained walnut, and the mat is lilac plaid.

Have a great day!

Stampin Daisies Challange

I was looking through the blogs I follow and I happened to see this challenge at Stampin Daisies.  I really liked the sketch and I thought it was perfect for a layout.  I kept it simple, but I really like how it turned out.  I plan on adding an adorable picture of Princess Buttercup after I figure out which one of the thousands I have of her.  I cut the pink to 8x8, the black mat is 6.5x4.5.  The fiber was from my stash and then the flowers are Bloom-lets from Eye-lets Etc.  I used a yellow/gold gelly roll pen for the dashes.  The letters are from my stash too and they were out of the package.  Sorry about the picture I couldn't get it cropped. Both of my photo programs kept freezing on me when I tried to crop it.

Hope you enjoy your day!

Welcome Baby!

I am so beyond excited!! My best friend(BFFFFFFF) just told everyone she is pregnant!!!!!
I am so happy for her, and can't wait until she has this precious baby.  I told her I would do lots of stuff for the baby's room, and make her scrapbook. So this is the first page that I have made.  I am not sure what order the pages will go in yet, but we will see what develops.  Since they don't know yet what they are having, I tried to keep it neutral and her favorite color is green. She will put the pictures on the colored cardstock, I couldn't add pictures since the baby is still cooking. :)

I used a kit that I had by Colorbok.  It is just called pastel.  The patterned paper, stickers and the 2 bottom embellishments.  The color cardstock is from  Eye-lets Etc, and the flower is one of their bloom-lets.  The baby was from my stash, I can't remember what they are.  I used the Artful Delights September sketch for the layout.

I hope you all like it!  I love you Shawna and I hope you like it too!

Happy Halloween!

I know it is slightly early for this years Halloween, but I made this for a Halloween Picture from last year.  I was lucky last year and able to help a lot in my daughters class. So I took some pictures at their party.  I don't have the pictures on the layout yet, but I love how the layout turned out.  I used this for my Eye-lets Etc  design team project.  Absolutely everything except the stickers and marker are from Eye-lets Etc!   I hope you have a fantastic day!

Chillin with my daddy!

I think this turned out Super Cute.  I did this for a scraplift challenge over at TallyScrapper.  I love how simple it is, but still cute. The letters are my favorite, they were white punch out ones, i dabbed them with green ink, and then dashed them.  i dashed the edges of everything.

Have a great day!  I am soaking it up in the Texas sun right now.

My first fall layout

I am not totally done with this layout.  It still needs a title, but I am not sure what I want to do yet.  I think I am going to put pictures of our first time at the pumpkin patch, but I just don't know what to call it.  It requires some thinking, maybe after I get the pics on it...
Anyway, I used a plain background it came in a pack from Oriental trading.  The mats are from my scrap bin, and the fantastic images are from Faith at Designed2delight.  I went outside comfort area, and used my machine for some stitching.  I have never done it before.  I am not quite sure how I feel about it yet, so I don't know if I will keep doing it on stuff.  I colored the images and glittered them.  I also embossed the mats using a fiskars texture plate and my cuttlebug.

I am entering this at Designed2delight, a challenge at TallyScrappers, andhttp://kcclayoutchallenges.blogspot.com/.

Hope you all have a fabulous day!
