Give Thanks Jar

Hi Everyone! Happy Tuesday!  I am so excited to bring you a cute little recycled project today.  I wanted to do a little something for the teacher that I teach religon classes with. She is so nice and we have so much fun in class.  I saw this empty peanut butter jar on the counter and I turned it into this....

All the papers are from Doodlebug Designs the new Happy Harvest collection.  The cover I cut a strip3/4x10 and wrapped it around the cover and then traced the cover and hand cut out the top part. The papers around the middle are cut at 3x10.5 and 2x10.5 The picture in the middle, and sentiment flag  Doodlebug stickers. I stuck the flag to the picture and then used baby powder to make it unsticky.    I added some Doodlebug sprinkles to the sticker. I also used some Doodlebug twine. Finally the crowning glory of the project a fabric popper by Pinque Peacock.

Here is the close up of the popper.

I love how it is just a perfect match for the project. Then I just added my kisses and it is ready to go. I will give it to her tomorrow.  Hope she likes it ;)

Enjoy your day.

Buttons buttons everywhere

This challenge was so fun.  At TallyScrapper we had to use as many buttons as we could and still have it look good.  I think it i adorable.  I used a studio g card base, covered it in scraps, and then used 32 buttons.  The paper flower is Doodlbug Designs paper.  I punched scalloped circles and then folded them so there was a V at the bottom. I cut another circle for the bottom, put the petals on and a button in the center.

Have a fantastic day!

I'm Sorry Bear

I love this little bear.  I got him at, surprise suprise, MelJen's.  I can't believe how awesome her freebies are.  I colored him with my colored pencils and blended with alcohol.  This is based off a cardmaps sketch.  I forget to look at which month it was.  i will see if I can find it.  I matted the digital stamp on Doodlebug designs, petite prints in bubblegum.  The background is pink cardstock and I border punched the 2 sides of it.  The plaid is doodlebug designs nifty notions.    I put the ribbon across it and added the bow, and 2 orange eyelets.

Here is a closeup of the bear.
