I have a last minute entry into the Sweet Shop Sketch Challenge. I planned on doing it sooner, but I dislocated my pinky and it is hard to craft with a splint on it. It is doing much better though. :) I am also entering this into Paper Playtime which had the challenge to use an umbrella, and a spring die cut challenge at StuckonUsketches, plus a Easter/spring challenge at More than favors, wacky Wednesday challenge. Finally at Queen of my Craftroom we had an impromptu challenge for us DT members to make a summer card using orange and turquoise.
Here is the sketch...
I think spring and summer go together, plus here in MN we get lots of rainstorms even in the summer so the umbrella is perfect for spring and summer. It was a file I cut on the Wishblade. I cut the circles on on their too, just eyeballed them. Did some embossing on the big shot. The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs the set is Splashtastic Summer. Which is one of my favorite sets. :) The best part is right now there is a sale!!! Save 20% off on the already low prices. the code is letshavefun Know what else... right now there is a guest designer position up for grabs. Go to Getting Cricky and Kristal has a fabulous video for you with all the details. There is also one day left to enter our Simply Sunday Easter challenge. :)
